Privacy policy

The details behind the game, in plain language.

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Deadball Studio operates Rally: Sports Trivia. Contact us at support@deadballstudio.uk about this policy or your data.

Accounts and game data

When you choose Get started, Rally creates an anonymous guest account with a unique account identifier. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple supplies an account identifier and, if you allow it, an email address. That may be an Apple private relay address. We use this information to sign you in and recover your account. We do not receive your Apple password.

We store the username you choose, your home sport, optional country flag, Player appearance, owned items, balances, achievements, friends you add, game attempts, answers, scores, streaks and progression. We use these records to run the game, prevent replays and abuse, restore progress, show leaderboards and Weekly League standings, and resolve support requests. Public game surfaces can show your username, score, level, league tier, Player and optional flag.

Our account and gameplay backend is Supabase, hosted in its Singapore region. Supabase processes this data for us, including authentication and database storage. Network and security logs may also be processed by our service providers.

Ads and tracking

When advertising is enabled in Rally, Google AdMob will serve rewarded and interstitial ads. Google's consent form is shown where required. Where applicable, Rally also explains the advertising identifier and asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before tracking. You can refuse or change these choices through the available device and consent controls; the game remains playable. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers when permitted, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions and diagnostics to deliver, measure and, with the required consent, personalise ads. Their processing depends on your choices and Google's policies.

Rally does not sell your personal data. We do not use your game answers, friends or Player design to build advertising profiles.

Notifications and device settings

If you turn on Reminders and allow notifications, Rally schedules local reminders on your iPhone for an unplayed day. It does not send server push notifications. Your reminder permission and the Haptics, Sounds and Music settings are kept on your device.

Purchases

If in-app purchases become available, Apple handles payment details. We receive transaction information needed to verify purchases, restore entitlements, grant Rally Points (RP) and handle refunds. We do not receive your payment card number.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account and gameplay data while your account exists. In Rally, open Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm. This deletes your account and its associated personal game data from our active backend, signs you out, and revokes Sign in with Apple authorisation where applicable. You can also contact support@deadballstudio.uk for help. Service providers may retain limited backups or security logs for their own retention periods.

Deleting the app alone does not delete your account. If you signed in with Apple, you can also manage Rally's access in your Apple Account settings. You may ask us about access, correction or deletion of your data at the support address.

Contacting us

When you email us or use the contact form on this website, we receive the name, reply email address, topic and message you provide. We use them to answer your enquiry. Cloudflare processes form submissions and email delivery, and our email provider stores the message in our inbox. You can ask us to delete a support message at support@deadballstudio.uk. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes or payment card details.

Changes

We may update this policy when Rally changes. The date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will be explained in the app or on this page.
